I really wanted to be able to take some pictures of Dusty and I and "the belly." Since we were tan after Hawaii, I jumped at the opportunity to take some shots. We headed down to Salt Creek in Dana Point and were able to catch a killer sunset. My best friend, Steph, has a cousin who is getting into photography and she took some very cool shots. I am really happy with how they turned out. Below are some of my favorites! I hope you enjoy:)

Shower the people you love with love....
This is a line from my favorite James Taylor song and also speaks volumes of how I feel as of late. Rather than just being showered with love, I feel like it has been pouring rain of love!!!! So much love has been given through close friends and families that have thrown or attended a shower. Last weekend, my closest girlfriends whom I love to journey through life with threw me a beautiful shower. We had awesome food, fun games, and I got some great gifts....including my new diaper bag, which I am so excited about:) Thanks girls for making this day so special for me and showering me with love. I am blessed indeed. Here are some pics of the day....
Yaya and Kim....she bought Dillan his Baby Book!
Bradford and Sophie! I have babysat Sophie since
she was 2 yrs old....she's 7 now!!!!! So fun to
have them come to the shower!

The perfect Babymoon!
Dusty and I were so blessed to be able to take one last trip before the baby comes! We headed back to Kauai and stayed at the same place we stayed on our honeymoon almost 5 years ago. We literally had the best time ever! We were so blessed because we had 7 days of perfect weather, which is awesome because the locals told us that it has pretty much been raining every day since December. We mostly just relaxed pool and beachside, but we did take a day trip up to Princeville on the Northshore, and another day we went to Poipu on the Southshore. We had amazing dinners every night, enjoyed some breathtaking sunsets, and had some great conversation and reflection. We are grateful to have been able to make this last trip and have it be so special. Enjoy the pics!!!!!
We stayed at the Marriott in Lihue

Am I really in the 30's???
I always told myself I still had a long way to go until I got into the "30's"....weeks that is. And here I am at 32 weeks thinking "where the heck did the time go?" I can't believe I only have 2 more months. However, remember the post where I mentioned all the things I was scared of in the last trimester? Well, they are ALL here! My back is definitely starting to hurt, sleep is pretty much non-existent, and I feel I am getting fatter by the day. I have officially had my first couple of Braxton Hicks contractions and they are NOT fun. Dillan kicking my ribs seems to be his favorite past time, but I would like to recommend he sticks with cute things like hiccuping or light taps. Sometimes I think to myself, "what is going to be like to not have a baby in my belly" and I get really excited:) With all this said, I have not hit the "GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME!" yet. I am still needing these last two months to get organized and prepared, but check back in with me at 36 weeks:) I am pretty sure that last month is going to be hell. Below is the 32 week picture. 8 months....can you believe it?

A day at the beach
The weather has been so amazing here in Southern Cali, that my best buddy, Carly, and I decided to take advantage. We headed down to Salt Creek beach with her little guy, Caleb, and enjoyed soaking up some rays. It's quite obvious that the belly is really growing. Just imagine what it's going to look like in two more months:)
Caleb is wondering "What the heck is in there?"
Another Baby Shower!
Pattie's friends from both Palos Verdes and Pasadena threw me the most BEAUTIFUL shower last weekend! It was held at her friend Connie's beautiful home in Arcadia. The hostess' were so generous and so creative with the food and all the little details. We received some amazing gifts and left feeling very blessed. Thank you so much for all who came and shared in this special day with me. We received our re-upholstered glider from Chuck and Pattie and my new UPPA BABY stroller from my mom and dad. I can't wait to push Dillan around in it! Check out pictures from this LOVELY shower:)
A very cute outfit for Dillan from Janie and Jack
