A picture to satisfy those hungry readers:)

6 months have come and gone and this whole thing is starting to become VERY REAL!!!!!! I am getting bigger by the day and Dillan is basically the karate kid. I feel him kick all the time, especially at night. Dusty and I officially said goodbye to our guest room and moved all the furniture out and even cleared half the closet for our little guy (you have no idea what dedication this took:) The baby's room is now painted and we've put up the chair rail. We just have to do the bathroom and then it will be ready to have stuff moved in as we receive it. I will send pictures of the finished product on my next posting. For now, feast your eyes upon the "bellair" as we like to call it in the Davis family.

24 weeks and growing....Dillan is the length of an ear of corn:)

I am going to be an AUNTIE......again!!!

I became an auntie for the first time when little Charlie was born, and now I am going to be an auntie on my side.......Drew and Jordyn are prego!!!!! Little Dillan is going to be so happy to have a cousin only 11 weeks younger than him:) Since Drew and Jordyn celebrated Christmas in Colorado this year, we got a belated Christmas gift from them a week later! A little onesie for Dillan to wear that will boast of his love for his cousin. God is good and the Davis family will add two little ones this summer. Needless to say, Yaya and Papa have never been more excited!!!!!!! Will it be a boy or girl????? We will find out soon!

Our favorite Christmas Gift!!

20 weeks....halfway there!!!!!!!!!!

We made it to the halfway point:) I can't believe that I am already 20 weeks and that my baby boy will be here in 5 months. We had our 20 week diagnostic ultrasound appointment and Dillan is as healthy as can be. He has all his parts and they are all working great! I cannot even begin to explain what a relief it is to have the technician go through his tiny body and just confirm that everything is perfect. However, it did not go as smoothly as it sounds, because our little guy is a mover!!!!!! He would not sit still for the technician to get the "shots" she needed. I think she was starting to get frustrated:) Needless to say, are any of us surprised that Dillan is a party animal already? Hahaha. One of the greatest joys thus far has been to feel him kick. I felt him for the first time at about 17 weeks when we were sitting in church. I felt this odd feeling and then I almost laughed out loud I was so excited. Feeling Dillan kick is my absolute favorite thing (I even love it more than Claussen Pickles....and that is saying a lot!). Dusty and I are so thankful for a healthy baby and even though we still have lots to do before he arrives, we are so excited to meet him! Below are pics of the ever growing belly at 20 weeks and of little Dillan Davis Olson at 20 weeks. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers....they are coveted!!!!!!!!!

Holy Moly, it's growing!!!!

It's a.......BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just COULD NOT wait until our 20 week appointment, which is when you typically find out the sex of your baby. A couple of my friends had gone to this place where you can get an ultrasound as early as 13 weeks to find out the sex, so we made a run for it!!!!!! We planned a very special day that included our parents. I asked if my mom and Pattie would take the day off and come down to do some last minute Christmas shopping and Dusty asked the dad's to come down for a little holiday golf. We then planned for the six of us to meet up for a family dinner. When we met the mom's in the morning, we told them we were actually going to get an ultrasound and find out the sex of the baby. They were blown away and so excited. The ultrasound was so awesome. Within a minute, the technician got the right angle and said "Okay, this is a leg, this is another leg, and this IS NOT a leg!!!!" We were all so excited! The mom's were overjoyed and Dusty and I just sat there in awe as we watched our baby boy doing summersaults in my belly, scratching his face, and being very UN-SHY!!!!!!!! The experience was priceless and so fun to have our mom's there with us. Dusty took off, sworn to secrecy, to go play golf with the dad's. The girls took off to South Coast Plaza and went hog wild buying boy clothes all day. When we all met up for dinner we each gave our guy a "Christmas present" that they were to all open at the same time. Chuck was so grateful for the little boy outfit and just kept saying "thank you" until my dad's eyes got really big and he said "It's a boy???" and then Chuck finally got it saying "IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!" The dad's were over the moon and in Chuck's defense, it was dark in the restaurant:) It was such a fun day celebrating with our family and Dusty and I are just in heaven! Here are some more pics of our fun day together and of our little guy:)

16 weeks and getting bigger!!!!!!!!!

Alright folks....as you can see, I have officially "popped" as they say!!! It is so fun! I had the first person ask me on December 9th when I was due. That was exciting. It is nice to know now that people can actually see that I am pregnant and not just a fatty:) I had my 16 week appointment last Thursday and got to hear the heartbeat again (a sound I will NEVER get tired of) and we got the greenlight from Doc to take our last trip to Kauai in April!!!!!!!!!!! Babymoon here we come:)

1 down....2 to go (trimesters that is)

We made it through the first 12 weeks! WOOOHOOO! God is good and we are counting our blessings, especially because for the most part, it was a very smooth 3 months. I really only felt not myself this last week for a couple of days, but I am pretty much back to normal. As you can see, the belly is starting to protrude slightly:) I am still in my normal jeans, but the button definitley gets "unbuttoned" after meals! We had our 12 week appt and got to hear the heartbeat, which was so amazing! It sounded like a miracle. I am already so in love. He/She is officially the size of a lime:) As we approach Thanksgiving this next week, I don't think my heart has ever been so full. I am overflowing with gratitude for the baby in my belly and for the most amazing husband on this planet. As my friend Jamie likes to say...."our cups are full!"
