Palm Desert

We got to take a little mini vacation with our timeshare to Marriott's Shadow Ridge out in the desert, and we had an absolute blast. We usually go on vacation with our parents, but this time it was just the 4 of us and how sweet it was. Our days consisted of waking up, going to the pool, going back for lunch and naps, and then back to the pool:) It was the perfect fall vaca. The boys are amazing in the water! Dillan can swim on his own now, and Connor basically has no fear and thinks he can swim:) The resort has a water slide and we could not keep the boys off it! Balboa Island

Wow! Where have I been?? I haven't blogged in awhile, but I am back with our happenings over the last couple of months. We have some family friends that have the cutest place in Balboa and they let us go stay sometimes when it is not being used. WE LOVE BALBOA! The house is super kid friendly. We fill our days with walks to Starbucks and the candy store, playing on the beach, riding the ferry, runs around the Island, and LOTS of Balboa Bars:) We got to go a couple of months ago and took advantage of the warm weather. We also had a really nice time remembering Grandma Fran, Pattie's mom, and threw her ashes in the ocean, just as she wanted. It was a special family time and I know it meant a lot to Pattie. They were talking about selling the Balboa house and I sure hope they don't because we LOVE these little weekend staycations!
