5 months old!

Dillan turned 20 weeks last Tuesday. Do I really have a 5 month old? This is madness! My little man is now eating rice cereal, sitting up by himself (for a couple of minutes at least:), talking which usually turns into screaming, playing with his feet all day long which includes sucking on his toes, rolling over and over and over, laughing at mommy doing silly things, is obsessed with daddy's goatee, and continues to be the cutest kid on the planet and the happiest baby on the block! Check him out!

It's Pumpkin Patch Time!!!!!

It's FALL!!!!!!! Well at least the season is fall, even though it is 85 degrees outside:( All I want is to be able to dress Dillan in hats and sweaters, but this weather will not allow it. We had a few days of cold and rain and I was in heaven....I even put the rain shield on my stroller. It was short lived though and we are back to hot weather. I guess I just need to be greatful that we live in beautiful Southern California. We took our first trip to the pumpkin patch and had a blast! Dillan wasn't really sure where he was, but we got some great pictures of our lil pumpkin amongst the pumpkins!

Peek-a-boo....I see you!

Time for Rice Cereal!

I feel like I wasn't ready for this milestone....is my son really eating solid foods??? It just can't be already! I was hesitant to start because it really meant that he was getting so big:( However, when my Dr. saw how much Dillan moves and grooves, she assumed he was ready for more calories. Not to mention the fact that Dillan basically salivated every time he saw us eat......I guess it was time. He pretty much did what every kid does when they first have that foreign object put in their mouth....he spit it back out! We had a blast and got some fun pictures. He is now getting the hang of it a little better. The funniest thing is he sucks his thumb after almost every bite....but hey, it helps it go down instead of coming back out! I am loving these milestones and love watching my baby grow up!

I am ready for this!

Still deciding what I think!

Hmmmmmm.....

SO CUTE!!!!!!!!

Story Time!

Dillan loves bedtime books with daddy. Whether it be Goodnight Moon, Dr. Seuss or different animal books, Dillan loves looking at the pictures and trying to grab the book and put it in his mouth:) Watching this makes my heart so happy. My two boys....I love them beyond words.

Dillan's first trip to the zoo

There will be many more trips to come since we are now members of the Zoological Society once again. They told us they missed us and gave us a warm welcome back:) It was pretty surreal to take our son to the zoo, since it was pretty much Dusty and I's favorite past time when we were dating at Point Loma. He didn't really "get it" but nonetheless we had a great time with Dust and Nic and their kiddos. Can't wait until he says "momma, look at the koala bear:)"

Yeah! First trip to the zoo!
