Connor's room has come together! I really love it and I hope he does too! Since I already had the brown glider and brown storage boxes, I decided to go with a green and brown theme. The bedding we got from Serena and Lily from my parents for Christmas. It also ties in some light blue. Dusty got me the rug for my birthday from PB kids. The rest is stuff we had from Dillan or have gotten at showers. I can't wait to show Connor his room and rock him to sleep! All his little clothes are washed and we are ready for him to arrive:)

Washing the car
This weekend was so great because we were able to play catch up around the house after being down and out for a week of sickness in our house. We are using these last moments to prepare for Connor's arrival and get everything as ready as we can. We spent Saturday doing lots of fun stuff.....bike ride, washing the car, Home Depot trip, and planting new flowers. Dillan is the best little helper and loves to be hands on. Check him out!

Lifted up in prayer
My closest friends came to surround Connor, me, and our home in prayer as we prepare for his arrival. It could not have been more perfect timing for a couple of reasons.....I got hit HARD with a horrible cold last week and so prayer for healing was definitely in order. As a result of being sick and worn down, I was an emotional wreck. There was no one else I wanted around but my girls to encourage me and just relax and unwind. We prayed for a safe delivery, a healthy boy, a smooth transition for Dillan, a hedge of protection over our home and marriage, and for God to reign and be sovereign in the midst of the impending chaos that will soon take over. This night brought two main truths into focus for me:
1.) How GREAT is my God? How amazing that I have a Father that I can come to at any time and lay down my cares and concerns and He carries my burdens?? In fact, he welcomes me to rely on Him and promises to lighten my load.
2.) How AMAZING are my girlfriends? I had two drive all the way from San Diego to be with me on this night. I have the most loyal, caring girlfriends in the world and cherish each and everyone of them. Thanks ladies for the love and support!!!!!!

One more shower for Connor!
Pattie's friends threw a beautiful shower for Connor and I on Sunday. These ladies sure know how to throw a party:) They are truly the best hostess' and everything was SOOO cute. We had enough dessert to stuff ourselves and I got some really cute stuff for Connor and his room. Words really can't capture how blessed we are by our friends and family. Here are a couple of pics from the shower.

36 weeks.....final stretch!
Well, we've made it to the homestretch! I am technically 37 weeks tomorrow, so I am running a tad behind on this post. I got a horrible cold over the weekend, which was terrible, but I am starting to feel better, which is GREAT news! I had my 36 week appt last Friday and they did an ultrasound to get an estimate of how big Connor is. Right now he is roughly 7 lbs and my doc thinks he will be between 8.5 and 9 lbs at birth, which is much lighter than Dillan! So here is to hoping she is right:) I was .5 cm dialted and 30 percent effaced. I go for my 37 week on Friday, so we will see if there is any progress. I am officially NOT sleeping at night. My goal is to get my hospital bag packed this week, cameras charged, and then we will be as ready as we can ever be! Pics of nursery are coming....stay tuned! Connor Charles, I am ready for you to rock my world! I love you and I CAN'T wait to meet you! Love, mommy

Supper Club....Mafia Style
It was the Davis' turn to host supper club and they did not disappoint! The theme was mafia and Lauren cooked up an incredible pasta dish of stuffed jumbo pasta shells with a really yummy sauce. The rest of us brought food that went along with the theme, and thus had an amazing feast! The night was filled with an awesome slideshow of past supper clubs made by Parker, yummy drink concoctions, and some WILD games of Mafia! We LOVE being a part of this group and always look forward to spending time with our supper club friends. It's our turn to host next, so stay tuned for an awesome theme!
Don't mess with the mafia

Shower for Connor
My beautiful friends threw Connor and I a lovely, intimate shower on Saturday. It was at Nicole's house and we had an awesome waffle bar and yummy breakfast! The most special part was everyone going around and sharing their favorite memory with me. There was lots of laughter and lots of tears and I will cherish that time forever. Connor got some awesome gifts, including a new bassinet from his Yaya! He will be the first of many Olson/Davis babies to use it:) I am so blessed by my girlfriends and Connor is so lucky to have so many "aunties" to love on him when he comes. Thanks to everyone that helped put the shower together! Love ya!

Connor's godparents
Dusty and I love the idea of our kids having godparents. An "extra" set of parents set aside to love on our kids and pray for them intentionally. We had the privilege of becoming godparents over 5 years ago when Caden Davis was born. We love making him feel special....showing up to all his special events, taking him on special dates, giving him fun gifts from time to time, but most importantly, setting time aside to pray for him. We love this idea so much that we wanted to do it for our kids as well. Our great friends, Dave and Carly Cordero, are Dillan's godparents and they love on him so well. We just asked Drew and Jordyn if they would be Connor's godparents and they said YES! I know they will be the best! Connor is so lucky!

New Years Eve and my Birthday!
Is it seriously already 2011??? Where did 2010 go? I know that sounds cliche, but seriously this last year flew by! Reflecting back on the year, I am reminded of how blessed we are and how much fun we had! Watching Dillan grow and learning that we were expecting another one was SO much fun! To celebrate New Years, we all decided we needed a night out with no kiddos. Dusty's cousins were kind enough to come babysit a house full of babies (5 to be exact) and we got to have some fun on the town! Our closet friends headed to Rip Tide Sushi for some yummy food and good times. We came back to our house to ring in the New Year and I think we were in bed by 12:10 am:) In addition to ringing in the New Year, we also rang in my 29th birthday! It was fun to celebrate with my friends and then have my family with me the next day to celebrate. My parents came down and my dad and Dust fixed an AMAZING dinner. All in all, in was the perfect celebration for this 9 month prego!
Happy New Year Dilly!
