Weekend in the snow!

Well, the holidays have gotten the best of me and I am way behind in posting, but better late than never, right? We got to go to this amazing cabin in Arrowhead with the Olson family and we had such a great time. It was the perfect weekend to go because.....IT SNOWED! It was a winter wonderland! The cabin was huge and beautiful. Enough to fit all of us. We cooked yummy food, played fun games, did a puzzle and went on some awesome walks! It was a really fun weekend to be together as family and the boys absolutely LOVED being in the snow. Kenzie even got to have her first walk in the snow!

One Month Old

Our little princess is already a month old! Where did the time go??? Mackenzie is just the sweetest! She is doing 6-7 hour stretches at night, staying more awake and alert during the day, and starting to give us smiles which pretty much melts us right on the spot. She is starting to like her bath and loves looking at her brothers. I LOVE HER!!!!!!! She weighed 9 lbs and 8 ozs (70%) and is 21 inches long (50%) at  her one month appointment. She is healthy as can be and we are rejoicing over her!

Harvest Happenings

It has been really fun to have a baby right before Halloween and enjoy all the fun festivities with a little baby in tow. Mackenzie joined all the fun for pumpkin carving, our annual Halloween bash, the pumpkin patch and even trick or treating! We didn't want to have to break tradition, so we still had our annual bash even when she was just one week old! It was so fun to see all the kids in their costumes and get down on some yummy chili! The boys had SO much fun at the Pumpkin Patch riding all the rides. We went with PJ during the day and of course it was so HOT! Why is it always blazing when it's time to go the pumpkin patch??? This year Dillan wanted to be a "bug man" and Connor wanted to be Woody. They were so cute. And little Miss Mackenzie was Cinderella. She had the cutest costume given to her by her Auntie Steph. Halloween was so fun this year. The boys were super into it. We went over to the Bettinos for some yummy dinner and the hit up Ladera Ranch. After each house, Connor would say "mommy, let's go to the next house." Literally, he said this about 30 times. It was so funny. Dillan and Jack sprinted to each house and it was hard to keep up with them. They LOVED IT! This year was another one for the memory books....SO MUCH FUN!
